[Week 1 Extra] What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is the stealthy use of some or all of another's works. If you reveal the source of a work created by another person, use it, or simply quote it, it is not plagiarism. But if you secretly use it as if you were making a new one, it becomes plagiarism. This is an important issue not only because it is morally and ethically problematic, but also because sufficient sanctions or penalties are imposed legally. We should create works through our own thoughts and efforts as much as possible. And if we refer to other people's creations, we must pay attention to the source and protect the copyright of the creator.
