W4. Extra ) the Interaction Assignment
I had an Interaction Assignment activity with my companion and observed the responses of pedestrians on the road.
Through the observations and reflections of Goffman's theory, we find that "no matter what the specific goal an individual has in his mind or what the motivation for achieving it, his interest is always to control the behavior of others, especially the reactions of others to him."This control will be achieved primarily by a restriction that affects others gradually, and he can express himself in some way by giving others an impression that he will lead others to act on their own will."This is what we call impression management.
The process of human communication is the process in which people perform "self", but this "self" is not the real self, but the "self" dressed up in symbolic disguise.
Good job, I hope you had fun with the assignment!
