(extra) WEEK 8 How to design a good street? What do you think

 I think the environment that affects them is more important. People may be affected by the actions of each person, but I think it is more affected by the environment that many people have formed. There are many changes in one's behavior depending on how the environment around him is created. Let's say everyone is saying the same answer to a problem. Can you shout different answers in this situation? It creates an environment where people can only tell the answers they say. Of course, there may be people shouting different answers. But I think there will be few. The environment has a lot of influence on yourself and is important.

Week4) Review about my Interaction Assignment

  The place I have been observed is a café. The café involves a few tables and chairs. It is well designed for the outsiders to get interested.  When I was there, two kinds of people were in this place. They were the clerk and the customers.    The clerk welcomed the visitors politely and made some beverage and dessert. She was in smile for all the time facing the customers and mostly dressed in tidy clothes. After she got the orders, she stayed in the kitchen, which is staff only, taking a rest and looking at the CCTV occasionally. A few hours later, the other clerk got into the kitchen for the rotation.    Besides, in the main room of the café, the customers sit around the tables. Some of them drank coffee and tea talking about their boring life. Some worked with their stuff very silently. And others played the board games making loud noise. Week4) Review about my Interaction Assignment

 I often just listen the conversation of next table in cafe, restaurant, pub..etc. But I have never observed other people in attention. It was fun to me doing observation others with my friends. I talk with my friends "What happen next?", "Is he success?" Watching the process of one guy picking up other lady gives us tensions. And I learned there are many interactions that can be explained by Goffman's dramaturgy theory.  So from now on, I'll give more attention about other people's conversations, acts, interactions and substitute theories I learned in this course.
