Hello, I'm Kang Min-je, majoring in Media & Social informatics, taking the 'Sociology of Everyday Life' class. My student ID is 2019094920.

We lived a day without technology in the 20th and 21st centuries. We would like to tell you what we could do without a computer, a TV, a phone, and what we couldn't do.

We analyzed the day of one of our team members by time zone. The wake-up time is nine o'clock. After waking up at 9 o'clock, I do stretch for an hour. After stretching, I have breakfast from 10 o'clock. I read for an hour after breakfast. The title of the book is 'Cleaning the House of the Dead.' I have to go out for class from 12 p.m., so I have to get ready to go out. After lunch, I take classes from 2 p.m. to 5 pm. After class, I take a walk with my friends. My school is very good for taking a walk. I have dinner at 6 p.m. After dinner, I had a team chat, but I couldn't use my laptop, so I asked for your understanding and met them in person to have a meeting. After the meeting, I had to do my homework, but I couldn't use my laptop, so I visited the library to get the materials I needed. After finishing the assignment, I took a rest and fell asleep around 10 p.m.

I used to get help from YouTube when stretching, but it wasn't easy to remember and do it alone. Also, I was less motivated than usual because I couldn't play music on my cell phone. I used to use E-book when I was reading, but I took out a paper book after a long time and read it. It was very inconvenient because I couldn't use my laptop when I took notes in class. It was easy to get homework materials when the laptop was available, but it was a hassle to visit the library. I spent time watching TV or using my cell phone during break time, but I was bored because I couldn't.

We think our day will be very busy if we live without technology like the 19th century. Now our lives have become convenient since the 19th century through tremendous technological advances. Also, we were able to live a more affluent life. Just as it's easy to find work materials, technology improves convenience and saves time, making life efficient. So, we realized once again that we can't live without technology.

This has been Kang Minje and Kim Minju. Thank you.
