Week1 (extra) What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is taking someone else's work and calling it your own. Usually refers to the act of quoting or borrowing someone else's things without revealing their source in the field of study or art. Basically, it also becomes a moral and ethical issue.
The biggest difference between plagiarism and parody is the source. The parody also borrows other people's, but it reveals its source and expresses it satirically. Hommage is also distinguished from plagiarism by imitating certain scenes or lines with respect for the writer or director.
In order not to plagiarize, one must write his or her work in his or her own think and reveal its source when quoting.
