Week 1 extra) Why are you taking this class?

Why are you taking this class?

After taking the 'Invitation to Sociology' class last semester, I wanted to learn more about sociology. This semester, a lecture was opened to learn how sociology works in everyday life, taking "social studies in daily life." I would like to take this course and learn many other things besides the basic elements of sociology. In addition, I would like to use Wikipedia a lot to study more by learning how to get and provide information this semester. Wikipedia has always been a useful site for finding professional knowledge, and I think we can solve those questions this semester.

(extra) WEEK 4 What is Drama? Please try to describe theater as if you were explaining this concept to a person who never heard of it.

If I define drama in a word, it is a story in someone's imagination. The actions, words, places, and situations of the characters in the drama are fictions created by someone. Some dramas deal with what might be in reality, but they are not. You may think that it is reality because you are familiar with yourself, but the drama itself cannot become reality. This is because they are all directed. Every detail is directing. Drama deals with content that can never happen in reality. Someone dramatizes things that can never happen in reality through their imagination. People are interested because they can't happen in reality. In other words, drama is all fiction.

On the street, I was a  audience and other people who passing by was  non-person by Erving Goffman’s dramaturgy theory. Suddenly, person A came out from the restaurant without a face mask. In this situation person B who is  spotter , frown her or his face, move far away from him or her and leave the road quickly. I saw Goffman’s sociological drama...
