Week 1 Extra: What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism refers to the use of some or all of another's works without permission. It is plagiarism if other people's works are used in all areas of learning or art, such as writing, painting, and singing, without proper source. Legally, current plagiarism constitutes a copyright infringement. In other words, it is against the law if you quote or borrow someone else's without following the correct way of labeling the source. Recently, plagiarism of papers by many celebrities, including celebrities, professors and public officials, has also been revealed in Korean society, sparking controversy. Therefore, we need to pay more attention to plagiarism and be aware of the right way to use copyright.
