Blogging Through Sociology of Everday Life (2020)

Technology Assignment review I spent the day without any electronic devices on Novermber 28. There were many difficulties in a day when technology was not used. First of all, this was the most uncomfortable point because I couldn't listen to lectures or do assignments without electronic devices these days. Also, it was difficult because I couldn't use my cell phone, so I couldn't send or receive immediate news because I couldn't do SNS or contact other people. The inconvenience was much greater than the benefits of not using electronic devices all day. So I concluded that people like me who are used to technology cannot live without it. Technology already occupies many areas of human life and people are used to this convenience, so life without it is unimaginable. However, we felt that we did not need to use the technology appropriately at the required level. Instead of invading too many areas of life and creating a tired life, it should be used only to enrich life.

We would like to tell you what we could do without a computer, a TV, a phone, and what we couldn't do. We analyzed the day of one of our team members by time zone. The wake-up time is nine o'clock. After waking up at 9 o'clock, I do stretch for an hour. After stretching, I have breakfast from 10 o'clock. I read for an hour after breakfast.  First of all, I tried to avoid using the technology as much as I could with my team members during this assignment. In this process, I always have a notebook, and whenever I use a certain technique, I took notes while thinking about whether this is the 20th and 21st century technology, and whether this is a technology that I can use now.  Also, in order to refer to what was the technology of the past, I saw the documentary "House" posted on the course web to get an understanding of the technology of the past.  After living a day without understanding and understanding the technology of the past, I made a ppt with all of my team members, and studied the concepts that would go into the analysis part. After the ppt and script were made, all three thought it was difficult to present, so I was in charge of the presentation.

I think Ansan Culture Plaza is good public space. There is easy to access by using public transit, has streets for pedestrian, and each block has many shops, restaurant...so on. But most popular part of plaza is NC tower I think. NC tower is shopping mall, and I think it is little version of plaza. (Maybe that's why plaza means shopping center too.) There are fashion, aesthetic shops in first floor, and men's section, women section, sports, suit, so on.. in several floor. There are also many restaurants, cafe in food court. it makes people comfortable to rest, take a break in shopping time. Most of all, I think this is most important part. There are theater(CGV). In Ansan, there are not many theaters. So people usually come to here to see movies, and have extra times in NC mall, Culture Plaza. The point that some place have theater is related to feature of Whyte's successful space. The show or The activities. So people are happy to spend time in there.
