Week 1 extra) Why are you taking this class?

I have been interested in sociology since I was in high school. But at that time, there was not enough time and conditions to study sociology. So I'm only interested and don't know anything about sociology. I took this course because I was curious about how sociology is permeated into everyday life and wanted to learn about sociology.


What practical skills do you expect to gain from attending it?

As the subject's name is "social studies of everyday life," I hope that the sociology I learned through lectures can be naturally incorporated into my daily life. And I want my view of society and sociology will widen.

To do that, we have to get people to look for it. First of all, one of the ways is to make the street itself beautiful. For example, the mural village was initially used only by residents. However, painting beautiful pictures on the walls attracted not only residents but also many people, and became a vibrant street. It is also helpful to design not only the street but also the periphery of the street. If there are shops around the street that people are likely to find, the street will be full of vitality.
