Week 1-2(Fri) -1. What is plagiarism?

 What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism refers to using someone else's work as if it were his or her own without permission. It is a concept that is distinct from imitation or parody, which reveals who the creator is. Plagiarism can occur in any field, but there are many problems, especially in academic papers and art fields.

Plagiarism is a copyright infringement. This violates the creator's rights to the work and may be subject to legal punishment. We should post our own thoughts in this class separately from the materials found on the Internet (other people's thoughts) and in situations where quotations are to be made, we must reveal the source.
