W2. (extra) What is more important: the actions of individuals or the environment that influences them?

This question is similar to the question of whether chicken is important or egg is important. Both individual behavior and the environment that affects individuals are important, but I think the environment that affects individual behavior is more important in the Korean society where I live. I think it is more appropriate to say that Korean culture has long been influenced by individual actions rather than by individual actions leading to group cultures. For example, during the Joseon Dynasty, Confucian ideas were introduced to define the behavior of many people. And I think the impact still exists in people's unconsciousness. In addition, since Korea is a country with a developed collective culture, people tend to dislike people who stand out in groups and hope that they don't stand out because they are wary of others. I think topography is also an environmental factor that affects individual behavior. People often say that England and Japan have similar tendencies because they are island topography. I heard that topographical factors affect the local language habits a lot more than I thought. I've read an interesting story about Japan's island landscape before. I think there's a kind of cycle in which individuals affected by the environment act again, and the behavior changes again, and the individuals affected by the environment act again.
