W2. (extra) What is a drama? Please try to describe theater as if you were explaining this concept to a person who never heard of it.
I'm sure most of us watched dramas once in our lives. In the drama, there are characters and backgrounds in which they act. And in the behind-the-scenes of the drama, there is a place where actors and actors can rest. Our lives are similar to dramas. We play different roles depending on the situation. They play the role of students and friends at school and as daughters or sons at home. This is similar to the characters in the drama and the background of the characters acting. As the environment changes, my personality and appearance change little by little. And just as there are behind-the-scenes stories in the drama, there are people that I'm close to or who only I can tell. And there's another space or environment in which I can exist. This is what Goffman's theory of theatricality is talking about. Our lives are like dramas.
